Testimonials tend to get skimmed and forgotten. A nice quote, a headshot, a name and title, and most people move on without absorbing what actually happened. So instead of just stacking up quotes, we wanted to pull out what our customers have actually taught us, and other agencies considering the same switch, about what really changes.
Here's what we've learned from agencies across the country who've already made this move.
Lesson one: the cost savings show up at very different agencies, not just one
Brandon, President of Interim Healthcare of Albuquerque, put it simply: working with Olli brought his coding and QR costs down more than 50 percent while his case mix went up. Beau Sorensen, COO of First Choice Home Health in Northern Utah, described the value as exceeding expectations, cutting coding and QR costs by 75 percent without sacrificing quality. And Interim Healthcare of the Northeast cut $150,000 a year from their coding spend, a 74 percent reduction.
Three different agencies, three different regions, three different starting points, and the same basic pattern: this isn't a marginal discount, it's a real shift in what an agency can afford to do with the margin it frees up.
Lesson two: faster turnaround compounds into something bigger than a dashboard number
Wendy, CEO of VNA Douglas County, said her team was impressed with turnaround times at least 3x faster than their previous vendor, and called the team collaborative and easy to work with. Interim Northeast saw their turnaround drop from 48-plus hours to under 24.
The lesson underneath both of these isn't just "faster is nice." A coding backlog holds up claims, and claims held up hold up cash flow. Agencies switching vendors often don't realize how much a slow turnaround time was quietly costing them until they feel what a faster one actually does to the rest of their operations.
Lesson three: accuracy gains show up in case mix, not just a scorecard
Sandi, RN and VP of Quality at Interim Great Lakes, rated Olli's accuracy a 9.9 out of 10, noting that out of nearly 9,000 chart reviews, only a couple required re-coding, while their average case mix increased 12 percent on start of care assessments and 10 percent on recertifications over that same stretch. Zach, VP of Operations at AgeRight, described a similar pattern from a different angle: faster turnaround, greater visibility into LUPA thresholds, fewer LUPAs, and a case mix that increased once coding and QA processes were streamlined.
The lesson worth sitting with here is that accuracy isn't just about avoiding mistakes. It's about capturing the full, accurate picture of a patient's actual acuity. When functional scoring and coding genuinely reflect what's happening clinically, case mix moves because the documentation finally matches reality, not because anything got inflated.
Lesson four: the gains show up together, not as a tradeoff
Shannon, RN and Executive Director at Lifespark, described improvements across case mix, functional level, and clinical grouping distribution after switching to Olli, alongside lower costs and higher reimbursement at the same time. That combination matters because it's easy to assume cost and accuracy are a tradeoff, cheaper coding sounds like it should mean a less careful process. What agencies are actually describing is both improving together.
Lesson five: a smooth switch is possible, and the relationship holds up over time
When Interim Northeast made the switch, their team described onboarding as seamless. President Mark Petersen said that when he checked in with his staff, he mostly got a shrug, which is exactly what you want to hear from a transition that's working. That kind of low-friction start lines up with the two-week onboarding process we use with every agency: integrate with existing systems, run in parallel before anything goes live, and don't ask clinicians to change how they work just to accommodate a new vendor.
But the more telling signal is what agencies say after they've been working with us for a while. Alison, COO of Elevate Home Health, called the partnership one of the best moves Elevate made in 2025. The team at Interim of Topeka said "We used an in-house coder and also outsourced. It would have been financially out of reach to have the outsourcers do everything. Olli allowed us to move on and have better resources that were affordable." A smooth start matters, but a relationship that holds up months later matters more.
The pattern across all of these stories
None of these lessons are really about any one agency. They're about what becomes possible when a coding and QA process is fast, accurate, and genuinely easy to bring into an existing workflow. Different agencies, different sizes, different regions, and the same underlying pattern keeps showing up: real cost savings, faster turnaround, accuracy gains that show up in case mix, and relationships that hold up well past the onboarding period.
