Six Olli Health customers were named to America's Best Home Health Agencies 2027, the ranking Newsweek and Statista released on October 21. Only 375 agencies across the country made the list, so this is a big deal for every team on it.
We're proud to work alongside these agencies every day. Here's who made the list, how Newsweek picked them, and why we think accurate documentation is part of the story.
Meet the six Olli customers on the list
Newsweek ranks agencies state by state. Our customers landed on the lists for Utah, Alabama, and Texas.
Community Nursing Services took the top spot in Utah, and Saad Healthcare came in third in Alabama. Texas had one of the biggest lists in the country, and four Olli customers made it. That's a lot of great care happening in the Lone Star State.
“We felt like Olli had a good business model with not only utilizing AI but also utilizing a human factor as well, by ensuring that what was being sent to us was accurate.”
- Jaimi Ostergar, Chief Operating Officer at Community Nursing Services
How Newsweek picked the best agencies
Statista scored each agency using four sources of data. You can read the full methodology here.
CMS quality measures (45%): outcome measures like treating symptoms, preventing harm, managing daily activities, and preventing unplanned hospital care, plus process measures
A national survey (35%): nurses, therapists, doctors, and agency leaders recommended agencies in their state and rated them on quality of care, staffing, and continuity
Patient experience (15%): HHCAHPS survey results, like how well the team communicated and whether patients would recommend the agency
Accreditation (5%): credit for ACHC, CHAP, or Joint Commission accreditation
The data covers August 2025 through August 2026. So this ranking reflects the work these agencies put in over the past year.
Why documentation shows up in the rankings
The credit for this belongs to the nurses, therapists, and leaders at these agencies. They're the ones showing up for patients every day.
Still, look at where nearly half the score comes from. Many CMS quality measures are built from OASIS answers. When a clinician's OASIS doesn't match what's really happening with the patient, the agency's outcomes can look worse than the care it gave. Getting those answers right helps an agency's quality scores tell the true story.
Coding matters too. Complete, compliant coding captures the full picture of a patient's conditions, so the agency gets paid fairly for the care it gives. Missed codes mean missed revenue, and that money is what keeps strong staff and good programs going.
That's why we pair AI with certified coders and OASIS reviewers. An AI-only tool can only work with the documentation it's given. Our certified experts flag vague or incomplete documentation and help agencies fix it before it becomes a problem. Across nearly 1,000 chart audits at 100+ agencies, we've earned a 97.5 overall accuracy score, and we publish our accuracy report every quarter. We think our customers deserve to see the numbers, and we're happy to show ours.
Congrats to all six teams
